Chomps Collectibles

The Chomps theme represents some of the most creative and limited designer toy art in the collectibles hobby — dominated by beloved brands like Abominable Toys and Handmade by Robots. These aren't mass-market pieces; they're limited-production designer art toys that blur the line between collectibles and gallery-worthy sculpture. Abominable Toys is known for their flagship Chomp character — an expressive, monster-mouthed vinyl figure that has spawned dozens of colorways, collaborations, and variants over the years. Each release is limited, often selling out within hours of announcement, making secondary market pieces genuinely rare. Handmade by Robots produces knit-textured vinyl figures inspired by craft culture, with a distinctive aesthetic that stands apart from anything else in the vinyl toy space. Their pieces have developed a devoted collector base that spans traditional toy collectors and contemporary art enthusiasts alike. At Mystery Collective, we actively source Chomps-adjacent pieces from both brands, including standard and rare variant colorways. If you're looking to start or expand a designer toy collection, these brands represent some of the best value and joy in the hobby.
